Ian H. Rodier is the founder and managing partner of Rodier Law Offices, Inc.
Mr. Rodier received a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1986 and his Juris Doctorate Degree from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio in 1989. He is a member in good standing with the Ohio, New York, Michigan and Missouri Bars.
Mr. Rodier has 27 years of experience in providing outstanding legal services to his
clients. He has expertise in defending individuals who are named as Defendants in
breach of contract claims. This includes credit card debt, defaulted student loans, auto loans, breach of lease, breach of general contracts and foreclosures and insurance defense cases.
Additionally, Mr. Rodier has represented victims of personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect and wrongful death and has successfully reached large settlements and very favorable jury and court verdicts for his clients. Former Jury members impressed with Mr. Rodier's court demeanor have contacted the firm and became clients which is indicative of his ability to impressively and skillfully articulate his client's legal position.
Mr. Rodier formally worked for the Columbus City Attorney's Office and the City Prosecutor's Office and has appeared in thousands of cases. He has extensive experience defending individuals charged with Misdemeanor and Felony Cases and has successfully reached Not Guilty verdicts for his clients.
Ian is an entrepreneur and has great talent opening businesses and counseling business owners with regard to all aspects of business including incorporation, LLC's, contracts, employment issues, marketing, advising, due diligence and compliance. He assists clients on real estate transactions and closings both for personal and commercial properties. He has represented businesses in a variety of fields including car dealers, manufacturers, medical professionals, other lawyers, restaurants, retailers, accountants, investors, service providers and has represented non-profit organizations including pro bono work. He also assists clients with drafting Wills and Estate Planning.
Mr. Rodier has been quoted in news articles and has presented lectures to students on a variety of topics including his expertise in the area of student loans and debt.
